How BladerLab computes stats, step-by-step guides for Catalog, Deck Builder, Simulator, and app controls/effects, plus FAQ.
Battle intel, Assemble, and Deck Builder share the same CORE STATS rules. Popovers stay short; this page is the full reference.
Attack, Defense, and Stamina are exact part sums (Blade + Ratchet + Bit, or Custom Line Lock + Over when present + Main + Assist + Ratchet + Bit). CX also shows a separate CUSTOM LINE block above FROM PARTS (Lock, Over, Metal or Main, Assist) scaled to Custom Line peaks; Over appears there only and is not counted in combo totals. The value after the slash is the peak for that scale (generation, Custom Line, or a focused part). Bar length scales to that peak; colored segments show each part's share.
Tap a legend label to show that part's share only. Under FROM PARTS: Blade, Ratchet, or Bit. On Custom Line (CX): Lock, Over when present, Metal or Main, or Assist. Dash and Burst are Bit-only, so they drop to 0 when Blade or Ratchet is focused; Custom Line focus does not change them. Tap again to show all shares.
Speed is a BladerLab estimate, not an official part value. When the Bit has Dash: round(Dash + Attack × 0.25). With no Dash: round(Attack × 0.45 + Defense × 0.2 + Stamina × 0.35). The diagram below uses sample numbers.
Dash and Burst come from the Bit when present. Dash feeds the Speed formula on X-line bits. Burst Resistance (tip height) also influences Simulator clash outcomes.
Battle log HP is a 100-point pool per bey. Each event subtracts damage from normalized CORE STATS (scaled to catalog peaks), Speed, Dash, weight, and the type triangle. Pill color shows clash type, not damage size. The formula diagram below matches the Simulator engine.
Deck Rating combines filled slots into a tier letter and an N/100 score from Attack, Defense, and Stamina averages (plus Dash/Burst when bits supply them). Makeup chips and lineup rows summarize types and weights. Fill at least one slot to unlock the column.
Each stat is divided by the strongest catalog battle top for that stat, giving a 0 to 1 value (same peak scaling as Simulator combat).
Sample with the normalized values above → 19 HP (shows as -{damage} in the log).
Each hit also rolls ±7 before rounding (seeded random; omitted in the sample above).
Clash type (Attack, Counter, Burst, Outspin, Knockdown) is picked separately from stats and spin. Every type uses this same damage formula once the line is written.
